I have been teaching English and Theater Arts in Norway since 1992. I have helped elementary school kids free their imaginations through poetry, and autistic teens develop social skills through role playing and playwrighting.

In 2010 I received grants from the Norwegian Arts Council, regional municipalities, and Sølvberget Culture House to arrange Siste Utkast (Final Draft) Writing Workshops for adults and teens. My aim was to help foster an amateur writing milieu in the region.

I have been a guide and a mentor, but am always a student myself. This year I am working at Vågen Secondary School for the Visual and Performing Arts. I teach Theater Production with second-year students and am learning alongside a visually impaired student as she experiments with radio theater texts and flash fiction.

I am available for consultancy work and for workshops (on the subjects of composition, the craft of creative writing and on teaching the craft of creative writing).
