Elvis is dead.
Somebody found him in his bathroom,
his head by the toilet bowl probably,
said Grandma.
Mamma's in Hawaii with her bowling league.
We're sitting on the couch with Grandma,
watching the news.
Toby must have climbed my dresser drawers.
Lucky the whole thing didn't topple.
Now he sits on the couch,
his hands an incubator, a lean-to, a tomb:
Grandma's roots shine
like Christmas tinsel,
Toby's petting
my fish.
Elvis's big, pale face
wobbles in the footage,
singing Blue Hawaii.

I really like where you're going with your multi-media poetry, and with this site... a double bravo! You've been at this a while -- please keep exploring this cool shit!
It is good that you are working on the audio quality - although, the nature of the un-processed sound is interesting in itself... edgy.
I tend to chase the highly produced sound, which sometimes polishes away the good grit... a dilemma.
I am rather scattered in my exploration of the capabilities of my new HD video camera -- but I'm very invigorated by the experimentation... and trying to overcome my manic lean toward perfectionism (OCD tendencies), which can get me off course and stuck if I'm not diligent.
Again... very cool! ;)

I am assuming this is you, RK? Thank you for the encouragement. It has only been a few months, and then a few months of no working to let my shoulder heal, but I can't wait to get back at it. I also can't wait to see your work this autumn. Thanks again!
